We can beat them , just for one day
Zum Ende dieser fürchterlichen Woche (Bowie, Rickman ..), in die die Nachspielzeit von Anfield nur zu gut reingepasst hat, geht es für Arsenal ausgerechnet nach Stoke. Bloody, fucking Stoke. Home of the Orks (mit den widerlichsten Fans der Insel) – never an easy hunting ground. Aber eines muß man ihnen lassen: seitdem Mark Hughes (so unsympathisch er auch immer war/ist) da ist, haben die richtig gut zu kicken angefangen und kriegen das auch diese Saison mehr als ordentlich hin. Gerade gegen die ´Großen´ (zuletzt in der Liga Siege gegen ManU, City und Chelsea zu Hause) geht´s ab und sogar Arnautovic kommt aus dem Knick.
Am Mittwoch hatte Arsenal schon etwas zu viel Respekt in Liverpool, gerade defensiv, und genauso sind sie auch die letzten Jahre im Britannia aufgetreten – aber jetzt steht da bei uns Mohamed Elneny, der kennt das noch nicht und wird gleich mal ne Ansage machen. Und Alexis wird als Rache für den Würgeangriff von Charlie Adam letztes Mal so richtig on fire sein.
(Und, ja, Aaron Ramsey darf gerne ein Tor schiessen und möge sein ´Fluch´ sich verpissen)

They have done very well. they have moved forward as well because they have improved their creative potential with players like Arnautovic, Afellay, Shaqiri, Bojan – they can create and play.
It is a good challenge for us as well because they have to maintain their record and we can show we have taken a big step forward and can beat them. It is an opportunity we want to take.

Arsenal are top on merit, and of all of the top teams in the league this season they are the ones who are actually playing like a top, top team.
To be perfectly honest the rest have slipped away a little bit and have been uncharacteristic in terms of what you would expect from them.
Arsenal have done really well though, gone about their business superbly and are playing some fantastic stuff at the moment.
You sense that they see a real opportunity this year, so we are under no illusions as to how difficult the game will be for us on Sunday.
And the shame, was on the other side
